Duncan’s On The Gulf Restaurant combines the best of the Traditional South Florida’s fresh Seafood cooking, with the healthier and tastier Mesquite charcoal grilling. No matter what you are in the mood for, our menu has a large variety, including seafood, poboys, salads, pasta, burgers and chicken. We have the best seafood platters in the area, including fried and grilled fish, shrimp, oysters, soft-shell crabs and craw fish. We have the tastiest charcoal grilled platters, we use natural mesquite clumps for the best natural flavor. Platters include burgers (best anywhere, using hand pressed fresh Angus beef), grilled chicken platters (fresh chicken marinated for 48 hours in our imported spices), Rib eye Steaks (Fresh Angus beef, USDA choice or better), whole fish on the grill (including Red Snapper, Black Drum, Sheep head, and other daily catches). Located in Cedar Key, FL and right on the Gulf of Mexico, Duncan’s On The Gulf offers a relaxed and open atmosphere while serving up some of the best food going. Our Chef Michael Duncan was born in St. Pete, FL. His many hobbies include all water sports, master diving and barefoot skiing. As a member of CMAC, Michael builds and races radio control airplanes. From catering parties to master ice carvings, he also has a passion for creativity with food and presentations. Michael has provided his services to a number of different clientele such as presidents, movie stars, billionaires and athletes. He also has experience working with exclusive private clubs and hotels most of his career. He specializes in different cuisines including southern, Cuban, home style and comfort foods.

“5-star seafood restaurant with beautiful waterfront view in downtown Cedar Key. Cozy booths, cocktails, chill ambiance and a less is more decor. Sushi for those who love it, prime rib, the freshest fish (grouper, yellow tail snapper, mahi mahi) and you can enjoy the chef’s creative combination of New England clam chowder and Bahamian conch chowder - or order each chowder separately. The onion rings were house made with a delicious orange sauce. This should be your go-to restaurant in Cedar Key! Live music downstairs!”M.
